A historic site
If these issues intersect with issues actually crucial in terms of institutional changes experienced by art schools, they deserve to be developed theoretically, historically listed, specifically located, to be reentered for criticism and help establish models for teaching and research art. Therefore the aim of this symposium is to undertake an inventory on the figures and historiographical methods of transmission Art in the twentieth century and delineate for art historians and philosophers, a field of research in which would be taken into account myths, chess, aporia, ideological structures provided the most fruitful experiments in transmission. It also appears that if the history of great art institutions founded by the avant-garde was the subject of many studies, however, the role played by training artists in their critical time is still insufficiently taken into consideration by historians of contemporary art.

Prospects Both theoretical
judged by piece, identify teaching methods, specify the forms and research objectives in an objective and critical in freeing the teacher-artist status of its myths, to assess, in actuality, how relationships operate theory and practice. This conference intends to gather input on artists who have distinguished themselves in teaching, whose influence has been hailed by or discussed with their students and teaching methods are distinguished by their uniqueness: they either move or renew the traditional models (the workshop, "Class" technical learning) or they reflect more experimental designs floutent the boundaries of teaching and the arts.
