Israeli police Sunday, December 7 blocked the departure of a vessel carrying food and medical supplies that Israeli Arabs want to engage in the Gaza Strip. Because of the blockade imposed by Israel since Hamas came to power, the ship was placed under supervision in the Tel Aviv Marina.
This is unfortunately not the first and surely not the last. As late as last week, a Libyan ship channel in Gaza was 3,000 tons of food, medicines and humanitarian aid. He was baffled by the Israeli navy.
The humanitarian situation in Gaza worries the UN and civil rights of man, who asked Israel to release the blockade of the territory ruled from June 2006. Yet nothing happens. The situation is worsening and the international community is concerned ... but does nothing.
