Demonstration for the human right to water

A coalition of organizations involved in defending and promoting the human right to hold water on December 10 at 12:30 in Brussels a civic event in the European Parliament. They complain that the dominant social forces of the most powerful and influential in the world have managed to prevent the United Nations to recognize access to water as a human right, on the occasion of the celebration of 60 th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Recall that the difficulty of access to clean water now affects 1.5 billion people. Poverty is the main cause of lack of access to water. Drastic measures must be taken sooner rather than later!
